Throughout the week, bowling center owners, distributors, and long-time Steltronic customers packed our booth to experience the next generation of bowling scoring and center management.

Every year, Bowl Expo provides an opportunity for bowling center owners, managers, distributors, and industry professionals to see the latest technology shaping the future of our industry. This year’s event, held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, proved to be one of our busiest and most exciting exhibitions in recent memory.

NOVA introduces a completely redesigned visual experience.
Our new animation engine utilizes many of the same modern production techniques seen throughout today’s entertainment industry, including advanced compositing technologies commonly associated with Hollywood “green screen” production workflows.
The result is smoother animations, richer environments, and a far more immersive experience that keeps bowlers engaged throughout every game.

Every bowling center has its own personality. With NOVA, your scoring system can reflect it. For years, proprietors have asked for the ability to customize the appearance of their scoring grids to match their facility’s branding and atmosphere. NOVA delivers exactly that, allowing you to create personalized color themes that enhance the bowler experience while maintaining exceptional readability.
One Question We Heard Again and Again...
One of the most common questions throughout the week was:
“Can I upgrade my existing Steltronic scoring system?”
The answer, is yes.
One of the biggest advantages of choosing Steltronic has always been protecting your investment. Rather than requiring customers to replace everything, NOVA has been engineered to allow many existing systems to transition using much of the hardware already installed.
An Economical Upgrade Path for Focus and Focus-NEX Customers
Customers currently operating Focus or Focus-NEX systems were pleased to learn that upgrading can often be accomplished using their existing lane hardware.
Provided the current equipment meets today’s hardware requirements—including:
- HDMI video output
- Adequate SSD storage
- Sufficient system memory
- Compatibility with Windows 11 IoT
many centers can transition to NOVA without replacing their complete scoring infrastructure.
This approach dramatically reduces upgrade costs while allowing centers to enjoy all the advantages of our newest software platform.

Throughout the show, our booth remained consistently active with visitors eager to experience the official release of Steltronic NOVA—our next-generation scoring and center management platform.
What impressed us most wasn’t simply the number of visitors, but the variety of conversations taking place. Existing Steltronic customers wanted to see how NOVA could fit into their centers, while many bowling proprietors who had never experienced Steltronic before stopped by to discover what makes our system different.

For centers operating our legacy WINS platform, we have created an attractive migration program designed to make upgrading easier than ever.
Because WINS hardware has reached the end of its practical service life, NOVA operates on our latest hardware platform specifically designed for today’s operating systems and graphics performance.
To help offset the investment, Steltronic offers a hardware trade-in program. We’ll purchase your existing WINS hardware and apply that value toward your new NOVA system, helping make the transition as affordable as possible.
